  Question: Spiritual literature often refers to the "True Self." What, or who, is the True Self?

   Reply: Like a geyser on the ocean floor, your True Self is the inner location from which all vitality flows. Underwater geysers are rare places in nature and great quantities of life are found there. Likewise, spiritual ideas of tremendous power and clarity orbit the Essence, but we are asleep to this paradise. It is the purpose of authentic spiritual teachings to awaken you to treasures you already possess within.
